Umbraa runs entirely on your Mac. It doesn't collect anything about you, and there's nothing to opt out of.

The short version: Umbraa does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking.

Information we collect

None. Umbraa has no user accounts and does not gather personal information. Your settings and preferences are stored locally on your device and never leave it.

Permissions

Umbraa's pause media feature needs the “Device Control and Data Access” privacy permission enabled to work. Umbraa uses this permission exclusively to pause media, and for nothing else.

Analytics & tracking

Umbraa contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. We do not use cookies, identifiers, or any other tracking technology.

Data sharing

Because Umbraa does not collect any data, there is nothing to share, sell, or disclose to third parties.

Children's privacy

Umbraa does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
